First off, thanks to all the TW members that have given me a warm welcome to the forum, and for all the info, ideas, etc available throughout TW. My truck started bone stock, like all others. It is a ‘19 DCSB TRD OR with the premium and technology packages. We purchased the truck in March. It looked like this minus the predator steps (like the looks of the steps, but they weren’t comfortable/functional to us as a step).

My first mods were tinting the front windows and adding EGR in-channel vent visors. I miss labeled the vent visor brand in my new member post–sorry. I then installed a knockoff TRD Pro grille with a factory garnish. The next accessory was the ARE CX Evolve cap with windoors, fold down sliding front window, rope lights, tilt switch, and Yakima Skyline towers with Jet Stream bars. I also installed a fuse block for power to the shell and for future electrical mods.

    57CF3388-5CE7-467B-85F7-22BF1BF756BC.jpg

I then added a TRD CAI which seemed help with throttle response and the smoothness of acceleration.
    BFD56344-EDE1-4BF6-AB7D-EC3F99E04E14.jpg

    Next came the lift.
    Front
    Bilstein 5100’s
    OME 888’s
    Freedom Offroad UCA’s
    ECGS bushing
    Revtek front dif drop
HS .25” “taco lean” spacer on DS

    Rear
Bilstein 5100’s for 3”-4” of lift
    OME/Dakar heavy duty leaf packs
    2.5* shims
    Extended, braided brake lines

    Misc
    OME carrier bearing spacer

The ECGS bearing was a bit of a PITA, removing the long ass bolt on the UCA’s is also a PITA, and the rear leaf packs are a handful by yourself! Other than that the lift install went pretty smoothly, considering I did it alone in my garage without any power tools. I love the feeling of manually turning wrenches! I set the front Bilstein’s on the second notch (I realize this isn’t recommended, please don’t hate/bash me too much) to achieve the look/rake I wanted. Over all lift measurements from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender flare are 3.5” in the front and 3.25” in the rear. Here are a couple pics with the lift and stock tires prior to alignment.

After the alignment, it aligned very well by the way, I had 295/75r16 Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed. The truck does ride stiffer, but overall I feel it rides/handles much better than stock with the current setup. I have also added a TRD Pro shift knob. Here are a couple pics of the truck currently.

I have several more mods I plan to do in the future (sliders, slim line winch bumper, winch, light bar, etc). I will update this as I add more toys! Please feel free to comment and ask any questions. I will answer them to the best of my knowledge/ability. Thanks and God speed!

Love the look of your truck!!! Do you mind if I ask how much your cap with the rail system cost? If I go that route, that’s exactly what I want

Any issues with the 5100s on the second notch?

Thanks! The shell was a little over $3,300 with the Yakimas and all taxes

Not yet, but I have less than 1,000 miles on them. There is another TW member, illkid I believe, that is running his like that as well. He said he had 60,000+ miles with no issues.

It looks great. How do you like the 295s? Did you do a CMC?

Thanks, appreciate it! I really like them so far. I have not done a CMC. The only time I ever get any rubbing is in reverse. I’m not sure why it only does it in reverse, but it is what it is. I wanted something just a little different

Update: I removed the 1.25” wheel spacers and I no longer have any issues with rubbing in reverse!

Truck looks fantastic, makes me want to get rid of my Yakima Overhaul HD rack and move to a shell. Solid color choice btw!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all! My wife and kids got me a couple things for the truck for Christmas. 4C410508-52A8-439F-8896-0524C04FEE9F.jpg Rago Fab hidden bumper light bar mounts, RC 30” single row black series light bar, and a couple organizational tidbits (center console tray and glove box divider). 7349E559-327D-4EBC-B2B0-B9FC8A15F7AE.jpg 478B3C45-DEB5-4A99-81D3-1B06A43163EF.jpgD4F27F40-4847-4BD4-87C8-2272BACEAAAC.jpg It’s all installed and hooked up! I had to modify (make the hole larger) the Rago Fab mounts, the install hardware wouldn’t fit through the slot. The light looks super bright in the garage. I’ll hopefully get some night time pictures after I get it all adjusted.

The pictures don’t do the light bar justice, but here is one without the light bar and one with. 14E7C8FF-B47E-40F8-9FB1-F2938C2C9455.jpg

Installed the Spiker Engineering hood struts today! The instructions are good with the exception that they aren’t super clear on where exactly to mount the brackets on the hood due to them being adjustable, but other than that first hole you drill in the hood the rest is pretty easy. The finished product looks nice and clean, and works perfectly. I adjusted mine to roughly 3”-4” of extra raised hood height. Feels like something the trucks should have from the factory, but it gives us some extra stuff to modify!EED55BA7-78CA-40DB-801F-D8768FAC6974.jpg03A7F072-FC0D-49CB-AA7B-4A8C2A01FDDD.jpg558496E0-BA28-4726-8B8B-5C2CEA50C2B0.jpg

That's a good comment, I appreciate it, and will update the instructions to be more clear
