DV8 rear bumper

Hey guys, I’m looking for a rear steel bumper for my 3rd gen Taco. I’ve been looking at the one from DV8. Does anyone have any experience with it? Pros and cons? Drop and pics if you have one installed!! Thank you.

Going to give this a bump because I have been wondering the same. Recently searched online and this one showed up and I think it’s the nicest looking rear bumper I’ve ever seen! And it has hitch (One I’m looking at) which is a massive bonus! OP did you get it? If not hopefully someone else has by now. If not I honestly think I will be next spring!

 

Very good bumper, I highly recommend. I didn’t get the one with the hitch, but that’s because I never have to tow anything. I wired up some lights on to it too for when I put the truck in reverse. Came out all really nice.

Did you weld on the pieces for the shackles or did it come with them ?

 

Those isolators are funny. Nothing for the D ring to touch on that bumper, and what might touch isn’t protected by the isolator.

 

Sorry for the late response. It came with the pieces already welded on for the shackles. It’s a great bumper, I love it!
