Seriously. Doesn't seem like they are structurally bad but I just don't wanna chance it so new arms keep these for spares lol

Decided to drive the truck out to the Barstow clean up. Plan was to just cruise around and had a whoop section I wanted to film the truck in to get a better idea for valving etc but ended up doing some more exciting things lol only new damage is some rear fender cracks... but damn was this trip fun

Truck was on the back burner for some time. Finally got the shocks rebuilt. TNT fab built me a rack saver. Installed all new bushing had the rack rebuilt as well. Plumbed a cooler for my power steering as well. New lower bumper. Fixed all the issue other than my front diff still. Next in timing belt kit due to my water pump leaking. Hoping to get a trip in soon to test out all the upgrades. Don't have much pictures of everything done

You had to drop your truck off to have the rack saver built or he had a jig?

He built the rack saver. I towed it out and he fitted it. I came up with the idea to mount it to the stock sway bar mounts. But I don't think he made a jig unfortunately. Was a time crunch for both of us. He will need your rack to do it still. I dropped mine off and wasn't to long to get it done

Real interested in that rack saver. What are you trying to achieve with it?

It takes the majority of the impacts and saves the rack. Hoping for it to help the rack last longer. Less abuse on the rack itself

Yea, it should help with the deflection of the shaft. Will be interesting to see if you feel the difference too, seems like with it stiffening up the rack it would make the steering feel more precise/crisp.
Im thinking that wouldn't be too hard to build, if I could source the correct size bronze bushings. What diameter tubing is that?

Ill be watching for long term updates on it.

Truck is a new monster with the steering upgrades and valving. Still needs works but amazing. Went to cal city with few new friends which was about a 100 mile run in the dirt. Jumped the truck and had some fun. Drove the truck out and back for about a 400ish round trip only issue was a rock stuck in my front caliper and bending my lower part of my bumper. Not bad but enough to notice. Then Lucerne area which was raining but not to bad. Cruised the truck around towed it back and now getting ready for the mojave trail in a week:dancingbacon:
Now for the picture dump!! Loading this truck even with all the storage seems to run out of room real quick lol.
