I just bought a 2020 Toyota Tacoma On Saturday. The next day I noticed these bubbles. I contacted the dealership They said the car was ‘as is’

My question does anyone have experience with this and how to fix it?

    First, welcome to TW!
Second, that dealer is awful, that should be an easy fix.

I think it sounds unlikely, but I'll ask anyway...this wasn't a used truck (i.e., a trade-in, etc.) you purchased, was it?

What does your warranty say? Does it have that huge statement that says "As Is"?

Agree - this isn't right at all and you should press the issue with the dealer. Then again, some of us strip that vinyl off even if it's in perfect condition (there's paint underneath and looks better imo).

What a joke, I'd march back in there to the salesroom and find your salesman. If he is firm on it's as is and there is no special language in the contract stating such then I'd make sure other potential buyers hear you when you complain you just spent all this money on a new 2020 and you get blown off for something that should cost them barely anything to fix!

Out of curiosity, when you did the look over I'm assuming the salesman and you didn't see that? It looks like part of it is slightly scratched to the paint underneath the vinyl. Either way a brand new vehicle should not look like that.

It should be under warranty, it's a 2020, even if it was used. Unless, as @EdFlecko mentioned, the paperwork specifically stated it was As Is.
I'd look at your paperwork, and then probably take to another dealer, it's just vinyl and will be a quick and cheap fix.

Buddy I'd march that sucker right back over there. Park it out front of the showroom and skip your salesman completely. They have no power to help or change anything anyway.

Go to the sales management office, and politely ask for someone to come look at the truck

When that fails ask for the general manager.

When that fails call toyota corporate.

Never lose your cool and speak professionally and with firmness.

The bubbles are not a problem, can be poked with a needle or have the sun work them out on their own. Those scratches though... that requires the removal and install of new vinyl. Still not a big deal, my opinion though. I used to work with vinyl.

    Lol.

OP's dealer should apologize profusely and pay for a live performance of Liquor and Whores. Maybe 'ol Snoop could join in too.

    ...AND fix that shit.

I would go back and try to get it fixed. Worse come to worse, I would just peel it off, it looks better without it anyway.
