Also, getting the plastic welds off is not too difficult with the right tools. I used a pair of wire cutters or “dykes” if you will. Dremel will work but messy.

 

Just saying, but I would probably get theses and the 4wd ring if it weren't for the gear look.

 

I know.. I can’t win them all. I’d love to have both styles(smooth and gear) but a whole new set of molds is not cheap

I think the 4x4 and Start rings are so small in diameter, it’s really hard to see unless you look closely. Just taking the chrome away is the biggest change.

 

I get where you at. Our company is on the mold cost struggle bus also. Just a personal thing.

 

I saw these photos and thought you were offering them in translucent gameboy purple. I thought, damn, that's bold, but slightly misguided.
