I'm monitoring inventory for a very specific collection of packages on a 2020 AC 6MT, but have been having a hard time locating the perfect truck. Does anyone on here have access to the dealer locator site and is willing to check to see if there are any out there country-wide?

I've put in an order to have one built, but the horror stories of 5+ month wait times has me constantly looking to see if I can find the perfect truck on a dealer's lot.

I just used Toyota’s website. I would just put in different zip codes to see trucks in different regions. Any dealer should be able to trade for any truck in their region.

Funny you should say that, since the one truck that is "closest" based on features, the dealer is refusing to trade for, and is one of these "one price" non-negotiating outfits. I've negotiated a $3k lower price at another dealer, but they aren't able to secure the truck.

Use Cargurus, dealers list them on there. That's how I found the exact truck (options) I wanted. Found it before dealer I work with could find it. 700+ miles away. They went and got it, trailered it back. You can enter exactly what you want in/on it.

The tonneau cover is what’s limiting it to nothing, there are 4 trucks out there with 95% of what you want except TC

Thanks! I am checking through your suggestions now.

Do any of them have the LED headlights? That also seems to be missing on most of the ones I've seen around here.

6mt and led headlights led to the full 12 week wait time for me. Mostly the headlights; it's worth it to me.

Toyota's search inventory function as well as your regional distributor search pretty much cover it.

Beware, the tacoma with my name on it still shows up on that search, so just because you see what you want doesn't mean it's actually up for grabs. Well, shady f'ing dealers are... shady f'ing dealers and you might lose the truck, but that's another discussion.

What specifications did you get and when did you order yours?

I'm about 4 weeks in at this point on the specs I listed above from the factory.

My order due in dec 26th is a 2020 TRD Offroad double cab, short bed, 6mt, white, tech, premium with sunroof & black/gunmetal interior and LED headlights and a couple of port options.

The dealer said a couple of times that if my want is that specific, it'd be in my best interest to go ahead and order one instead of waiting for one to show up. I'm relieved to say they weren't wrong or playing me. I've been looking through toyota and southeast toyota inventory every day for 4 months and the only one to show up like I want turned out to be my VIN. I've seen 4 or 5 trucks now that were everything but the headlights. I contacted several dealers and worked the price down as far as felt I could before ordering; I think 4 of them ordered the truck minus LED. Several knew nothing about the new lights. Locally, very few have shown up with the lights and I've only seen two on the road, one was a pro and the other limited. So in short, I ain't mad about it. Plus the incentivized rates and $500 bonus cash have come out, so It like my payback for waiting for the LED lights was they ended up being paid for.
