Hey guys, I emailed Blake Hamar from Caliraised on Thursday of last week and also emailed info@caliraised.com hoping for a response and still nothing. So I have turned here hoping someone has had a similar issue?

I have a 2016 Tacoma, bought a TRD grill from caliraised (2016-2020) and for whatever reason the bottom middle sensor bracket will not stay in place. It has tabs on the bottom that do not clip in or hold at all. Since my truck is a 2016 and it did not come with this technology I need to figure out how to glue or secure the sensor bracket. I think it’s pretty ridiculous to spend $249 USD plus another $116.00 CDN in COD and tax charges on a grill, Wait 2 weeks for it because UPS is crap and now have the bottom middle of the grill have a hole in it. If I basically spent another $60 CDN I could of had A OEM TRD pro grill from the dealership made for the year of my truck with no insert to worry about.

I’m not shitting on caliraised. I wanted to save money but instead gave myself more issues to deal with I guess. The grill piece is great for quality and fitment except for the sensor bracket that won’t stay in. Literally falls out on it’s own.

does anyone have a fix and if it involves me gluing the piece in, what glue is best recommended here?

SO just a thought for those from the great white north. Last Thursday was Thanksgiving. Suspect it is what we call a holiday. Give it a couple days for the reply as after that it was a long weekend for most

    Still stock completely capable!
Cali raised was offering 15% off all orders for November. They are probably swamped. They were super good with Customer service they will get back forsure! No fear!

I second that, a 2016 doesnt need to remove the grill cover anyways. Just slap some glue on the posts and push it in and clamp it till its dry.
