Im running Scs rays10 wheels with ko2 265/75/16, they have been great but I rotated the tires yesterday and now I feel the steering wheel vibrates from 55 to 67 mpg, had the truck back in the shop and they balanced it again but still does it , I’m thinking it has to be the wheels because I never felt that before , can anyone help

Have it road forced balanced and see if that helps

I would have someone following me look to see if they can see which wheel is jumping.

Don't waste your money on road force balancing. It isn't necessary. What is necessary is finding a shop that knows what they are doing. At that speed and considering what you have replaced it is probably a balance issue. It could be a issue with a wheel or tire being out of round, but those usually manifest at lower speeds. The fact that it is happening after you rotated is classic that they usually put the best rolling tires on the front and you won't see any issues until several thousand miles after you rotate. Bottom line, take it back to someone that knows what they are doing.

Just curious why you think Road force balance is a waste of money

Because it is a gimmick. Placing a drum against the tire and spinning it at 30mph provides nothing useful. 90% of balance issues can be fixed using a simple bubble balancer that provides a static balance. The other 10% is fixed with a dynamic balance (spin balancer).

The real keys to getting a good balance are a machine that has been recently calibrated and making sure that the wheel centers properly on the shaft. It is the large hub opening on Toyota trucks that makes the latter the biggest challenge and causes the majority of balance issues. If it doesn't center on the shaft, you can't get a proper balance. A good tech knows what cone to use and how to properly center it on the shaft. Then after that it is all about weight placement. Again, something a skilled tech can do. A skilled tech will also watch to see how it rolls. They can determine if there is a wheel or a tire issue. These are all things that can't be replaced by a special machine. A machine can make it easier for a skilled tech, but it isn't a replacement.

Did your wheels have hub centric rings? many shops when they rotate either loose them or dont put them back on. Without these rings the wheels will shake.

Did they say how the fonts roll (assuming they are still on the front)? How much weight is on the wheels and where is it (meaning something like "2oz inside lip at 4 o'clock and 6 oz at 11 o'clock) or just post a picture?

You lost all credibility in this statement. So your telling me a bubble balancer is okay for 90% of vehicles ha ha. That is downright funny. Let me try that on the next set of 22 inch Mercedes tires I do LOL. Oh wait nobody uses bubble balancers as they don't work for today's modern vehicles.

OP sounds like you have a tire issue. Vibrations with KO2's are common unfortunately. SCS wheels do not have to use hubcentric rings as they are made to fit Toyota & are hubcentric. Curious if they did a road force on the tires causing the issue & what the number was. Anything over 40ish for truck tires may give you a issue.

You rotated tires, picked up vibrations in the steering wheel. Rotate them back and see if the issue goes away. If so, you know it's in the tires.

When I do that the vibration goes away , so is the tires . Maybe I should do road force

bubble balancing is the equivalent of Stevie wonder balancing a tire. Road force isn't usually necessary because dynamic balancers are pretty spot on these days especially the hunter machines.

Sounds like a bad tire. Got any tire manufacturer warranty left? Pro-rated or otherwise?
