    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    I consistently get 18-20 in my tuned 5.0. It was sluggish stock, unless in sport mode. With the tune, it regularly drives like sport mode+ and sport mode now feels like "Ludicrous speed".

    I don’t think N.C. is plugging diesels in yet, there has been talk but currently anything 8600gvwr and higher only gets safety inspection. If it can pass visual and no lights are on, it passes.
    Even my gas E-250 work van only gets a visual and a safety and I’m in an emissions county.

    Well, the tank is not original.
    That's an "S" series. Seems they were plagued with several issues in the beginning.

    Edit: would help to know the year.
