I test everything on my truck.
If the current design isn't up to the task, we have a bolt on CNC lower oil pan made.
or you can tap your OE pan.

I have used this same exact setup with success on mazdas no drain issues at all.

We are using Design Engineering Hi Temp heat insulation shielding which is absolutely required and included.

    Will this require different tunes?

Recircs are usually completely spring driven. So they blow off when the manifold pressure spikes to a certain limit.

I know, but I’m asking more in regards to the MAS seeing the extra air in the recirc setup.

Food for thought...... no doubt, whatever problems emerge they can be blamed as a "pre-existing condition". :boink:

    Nice.

Probably wouldn't even be a problem on this truck if the sump was at the back of the engine instead of the nose.

With this being said, will there be an option to purchase from you an aftermarket oil pan that has all the turbo drain ports and necessary modifications on it? I apologize if this has already been answered.

Yes. but I don't know *when*
Because I'm already making a CNC higher capacity oil pan.

The oil "pan" on this engine is... a lower half of the block, and a tiny, tiny little bottom pan. So even with a tapped "pan" it's below the oil level.

regardless the end result kit will have the best possible solution on all fronts.
the current form is finished and I have not had any oiling issues at all.

But I have also not put my truck up an incline like that either.

"OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems" is the title of this thread. I'm happy for those looking for the Twin Turbo Systems and Mat's recent communications. Hope the thread title does not change to "OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Twin Turbo Systems. " Sure seems to be a possibility. UGH :smash:

If somehow that happens, this is from someone with personal experience with a rotrex boosted 2nd gen taco for 5 yrs I will say Meh, go for the twins. Ran a c38-91 with a 75mm pulley..had noting but belt slip issues. Even when she was working great, it was missing that low end grunt all you 3rd Gen are desiring, although on the highway it was a beast. I went back to the Trd roots blower, to me that says a lot about the rotrex. I am looking to update to a 3rd Gen and I think this TT KIT is the solution.

Don’t want to step on anybody’s toes that are keen on the rotrex. If you know what you are getting, and it fits your driving style and you’ve done your research etc etc go for it!! but just wanted to give my experience

Can someone just calculate this already? The specifications for 0w20 are in SAE J300. I don't have a super strong physics background but we should be able to calculate the flow of the oil in the return line. I believe @OVTune that it does work but showing the math would finally put an end to this.
