    2020 Honda Rancher 4x4 ES. Waiting for the rest of the snow plow kit to come in from KFI along with the winch mount, will be primarily using for plowing and projects around the house. Didn't try to color match the trailer, only color it came in from Harbor Freight. :D:thumbsup:

    If you don't mind me asking, did you ever consider a compact or subcompact tractor? If so, why did you decide to go the ATV route? I'm kind of in fence myself, leaning more towards a Kubota BX or B-01 series with bucket, blade or snow push box for winter. Scraper box or grader scraper for summer maintenance of my 720 foot long gravel driveway.

    Went with an ATV due to limited space and cost. Considered the Pioneer as well but too tall for me. It's perfect for small projects and we have very narrow side yards that only an ATV would fit through. Also, the plow comes off easily with 2 pins and we plan on getting a trailer to explore some local trails in the future. We also have a very small driveway and will be helping neighbors with plowing as well.

    Appreciate the reply. So much to consider when making a decision like this. I'm sitting on about 3 acres. Half the road access is shared with my neighbor, and I'm only at my property 100-140ish days a year, so the road maintenance is a shared responsibility. I use my dirt bike or dual purpose off road, so I doubt a quad would see much use off of my property. Kind of leaning towards a tractor, or surfacing the road with recycled asphalt to all but eliminate the need for summer maintenance, and just continue to use my snowblower in the winter. I'm one of those sick S.O.B.'s who actually looks forward to a fresh dump of snow because I love to snowblow.

    I'm right there with you, can't wait for snow to fall to be outside. For property that big I would consider a side by side such as the Pioneer or similar. You can get a bigger plow than 48" or so which is what size mine is. We've got 5 to 8 inches coming by Christmas.

    Nice! Lucky you. Not expecting more snow here until after I head back to the city for work. My neighbor plows with a Polaris side by side. Does a good job. There's a dealer back in Calgary who has a Kodiak 700EPS with 60 inch plow, for what seems like a reasonable price. Seems like a lot of plow for a 4 wheeler though. I like the idea of the back and mid PTO with a tractor though so the choice is there to run a tiller, post hole auger, front blower, or a mid mount mower if my lawn tractor gives out. Every option is on the table right now though. As I said, so much to consider. My mind gets racing about this stuff, and I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep at night. Lol!

    No I'm not looking for a soft ride, I'd rather have the straight axle for plowing. Paid $7800 out the door. People complain about the ES model but the majority have no issues. I got the electric shift.
