    3rd gen 4Runner frame is fully-boxed, while the 2nd and 3rd gen Taco frame is nested two-layer C-channel for most of its length. The 4Runner frame has a much thinner wall, so it's more vulnerable to "puncture" seen in the video.

    Did you watch the video all the way through? The slider leg punctured into the frame wall...

    If you get sliders for your 4Runner, make sure they have wide frame plates.

    Where do you find sliders for $$? They're usually between $$$ and $$$$.

    I still look at sliders with as big mount plates as possible. I know it's +weight but...
    $$ is another. They have to do the work though, otherwise no point getting a set
