I use this box with no foam:

    https://www.amazon.com/Pelican-1500-Case-Foam-Black/dp/B0000DYV9H

I have a Viair 88P inflator, military folding shovel in a case, flares, blanket, plastic bags, small portable DeWalt ratchet set, tire pressure gauge, jumper cables, and a few other non-perishable goods in there. All I keep in cab is a jump starter and a med kit.

I’ve had good results with Pelican cases previously and I like the water/moisture proof properties. Pricey but effective.

Ditch the tonneau and get a small aluminum crossover or job site box. This is what mine holds.

Just picked it up the Plano box from Home Depot earlier. It actually has a hinged side unlike the other 108qt plano storage totes. As said above, the lack of hinges make it very difficult to re-attach the lid if the tote is strapped down as its shape warps. Ill update this post if the hinged one has the same problem

I have the non-hinged one currently, and it does not have a reinforced lid. Their website shows both being in production, and the hinges one looks to have lid reinforcement.

I really like this Husky box under my tonneau. The handle extends out so I can roll it up to the front of the bed.
Doesn't move at all on the factory bed mat.

Mines the opposite. The hinged one i just picked up from homedepot doesn't have a reinforced lid, but the other non-hinged version that i previously got from Amazon does

I like that the Plano products are inexpensive and made in the USA. I lived across to street from their location in Plano, IL for a time.

I'm looking for something with hinges that I can lock AND secure to the bed and won't cost me $300.

I just bought this husky box and my only gripe is that it lacks any real handholds. Once it's loaded it's pretty heavy though so that might be a good thing. I like it a lot as a job box to roll in and out of friends/families houses for all the handyman tasks I end up doing. I think i am going to get a Plano 1819/1919 whatever it is as a truck gear box. The husky is just not quite the right size for what i want.
