If you dont know what BBM stands for google BBW and then replace the W with M for man. JK dont google that its NSFW.

Beer Belly Men, how do yall carry? I can't carry appendix, I mean I can if I lay on my back and dont move. I just ordered a belly band and Im gonna hope that helps. Until then, I can only carry in either a shoulder holster or primarily 4:30, right above the wallet pocket IWB.

I don't know how people can Appendix even without a beer belly. I'm smaller-framed, without a beer gut, and even with a loose-fitting untucked t-shirt it prints like crazy. So if I'm going to conceal without a jacket I've got to carry between 4:00 & 6:00

S&W Shield, or S&W Bodyguard. The Shield obviously printed more, but even the BG was visible.

Why not carry with owb belt holster. Just leave your shirt untucked and it’s concealed. Blackhawk Serpa is an awesome holster.

Ill take this one, as appendix is literally the *only* way i can carry that doesnt print. Its really all in the holster, and getting as close to your center line as youre comfortable getting with a loaded firearm. Its tricky for sure, but once you get it figured out, printing paranoia is over. I always use a trex sidecar rig, or something with a similar design. It kind of props up your waistband all the way across the front so theres no weird sudden bulge where a gun is, and shirts will naturally fall over the grip instead of getting bunched up on it.

No it won't. I've tried an Aliengear, a Talon, and a Crossbreed, in different positions. They all print. Maybe it has to do with my posture, but Appendix just doesn't work for me.

Which isn't all bad, I suppose, because it means I'm not starting the day by pointing a gun @ my wang.

None of those brands AIWB offerings have the design accomodation that props the waistband that Im aware of. Theyre basically just normal iwb holsters they say you can appendix, and you can, but theyll print. The trex sidecar has a hunk of plastic at one end, they call it a "raptor claw" iirc, thats sole purpose is to lift your waistband above the actual holster.

I know its a bit to invest on an experiment but if you happen to be in the market again, give it a try. Or continue not having a gun pointed at your dick, cause it isnt great lol

E: heres another brands writeup on what that raptor claw thing does: https://www.daraholsters.com/blog/what-is-a-holster-claw/

I do have a question for you Appendix guys; how do you sit in the car that way? Carrying at my back I can just push the lumbar support back as far as it'll go and be comfortable. But sitting down when you're carrying appendix is not awesome.

Its not the best but my natural aiwb spot actually sticks the muzzle between my dick and leg so...i mean Im not gonna draw you a diagram. Its all a very elaborate work of art. Most of the time if it bugs me ill just take the gun out and put it in the center console since at least in Ohio having a CCW lets me have loaded handguns anywhere in my car as well and thats still easy enough access

She runs. What more can I ask for?
    OC 3 O'Clock.

    IWB 4 O'Clock Aliengear (or throw a jacket over the 3 O'Clock) when I can't OC.

Haven't figured out the AIWB myself. Always assumed I just needed to carry something smaller but my gut has gotten a little out of hand.

I either always wear cargo pants or cargo shorts, which really lends well to a Glock 43/Sig P365 sized self defense tool. Coupled with a nice pocket holster, these options have been working well for me for a while now.

If I want to carry something bigger and can use an untucked/unbuttoned shirt or longer jacket for cover, I’ll put a gun leather belt holster at 4:00. This is actually my favorite and most comfortable method of carry, and works great this time of year. Sucks in the summer heat.
