    TL;DR

Can I fit pro comp 69 rims using a spidertrax spacer and wheel hub adapters?

    My solution:
    1. Fit 1.25" spacers to my wheel bore with ID 60.1mm OD 71.5mm hub centric rings
    2. The rims are lug centric as per some jeep forums so just slap em on the spacers

I recently purchased pro comp 69 rims (16x8, 5 on 4.5) because I saw the price drop to $60 and they'd fit the 245/75r16s I have, but being the impulsive guy I am, I did not do my homework first and in line with these threads

    and on and on..

the rims do not fit. They need about 5-7mm clearance from the brake calipers.

The 4 possible solutions I can think of are 1) get new rims, 2) grind down the calipers, 3) buy extended lugs and a .25-.5" spacer, 4) buy a >1" spacer with lugs in it. For several reasons I have been leaning toward 4, including the fact that I can't seem to find a reasonable mechanic to do the install and would want to do all the work myself. The last guy I went to told me I'd need a 6" lift to fit 245/75r16 tires...

I've read a ton about spacers and I'd like to go name brand, but it seems the name brands do not support tacomas:

I'm assuming that a wheel adapter (ID 60.1mm OD 71.5mm) can fix the mounting/centering issue and make the spacer hub centric for the tacoma, but am not sure.

I've measured the lugs, bore, and rim bore and it seems like the above solution should work, the only things I would be worried about are 1. the spacer bore is 2.82" which is 71.628mm not 71.5, so I could go custom adapter https://www.uswheeladapters.com/shop/plastic-hub-centric-rings/ but that seems like a waste for 0.1mm and 2. would the drastic price difference between the us and china sites mean something about quality.

I've been burned once and just wanted to see what people on here think and if anyone has experience with spidertrax.
