I want to put wood floor down in 10'x20' section. Just to have a better surface than gravel...

I did that when I put mine together. I couldn’t do dirt or gravel. I took extra time to add more stability. I doubt I would have an issue with a cabinet saw, if there was room. (There def isn’t room though!)

Thats my plan, im tired of dropping something and looking for 10min, and the uneven gravel is quite annoying

I threw down some cheap laminate flooring, worth it’s weight in gold. Dried wood glue only slightly tears. Spilled a can of stain and it didn’t leave anything behind after I wiped it up. It’s also super easy to sweep.

It can be but not crazy. For me it isn’t to the point were I ever feel like I’m about to fall.

Did you use regular tongue and groove flooring sheet?

Yeah, just the cheapest I could find at Home Depot in the color I wanted. It’s such a small floor that it it only came to about $100. Then I used vinegar aged furing strips for the trim. It was a pretty beat up horse barn before so I had some things to do so it wasn’t so gross.

I've seen low quality walnut slabs priced at $4/bf. Very high quality ones near $40/bf. All depends on the specific species, the dimensions, the overall quality, and the figuring. Sorry if that's not very helpful, but grading and pricing wood is its own specialty. Thinking back, the walnut slabs I've purchased have all been around $12-$13/bf. Maybe that's a good starting point?

It’s a 10x20 shed. Just big enough to be used as a hobby wood shop without having to pull tools outside.

Demand will greatly effect that too. Where I am, we only have one specialty woodworking store. We have some reclaimed places and big box but if you want a slab, A&H is pretty much your only option.

If you get inventive it’s doable. My sander and planer are on pull outs and that saves a ton of space. You can kinda tell in the pic above. I have a little door in the wall for the miter saw so long boards can be cut down. There’s a little wooden rest so it’s level with the saw. Otherwise I have rollers to account for ripping long boards on the TS.

    Table looks great!

I’m old with a beat up body now, that would’ve been good in my 20s lol.

I don’t very often unless I’m squaring up 2x4s for a cabinet or something. That’s what the ones in my pic is made out of.

More often then not, I actually use the Kreg Rip Cut. That little thing works great.

Nice looking table, the climbing wall makes my shoulders hurt looking at it... Nice moose skull on the wall, did you harvest?
