Just putting some feelers out there. I have #6 drifter for a short bed Tacoma currently on a gen 3. Based in Colorado and trying to see If it’s worth to hold on to while back in school.
    Thanks.

I'm so excited and I just can’t hide it. I got my email to finalize the camper this morning.

It was sent at 230am so these guys are working late to get us our campers.

I originally picked full powder coat, thinking of leaving the top off as it’s going to covered with solar soon enough. I’ve seen pictures on IG and it doesn’t look bad with black sides and silver top.
Have any input on that decision?

Who has the bed rail caps vagabond sells? How do they attach? I have the KB Voodoo and I’m not happy with the cut outs for the tonneau cover or how it mounts on the same place as the Total Chaos bed stiffeners, it makes a pitch point with the tailgate when closed. I might just go back to the plastic bed rails.

This spring is shaping up to be epic.

    Woohoo! Congrats!

I think I will do the same color option as you, black sides, uncoated top and then seal it myself somehow to protect it before I throw solar panels and ski racks on. I think the two tone looks awesome.

Was that you who posted on Instagram and said you were due for this month but hadn't heard from Phil? When was yours due and what is their construction timeline now? Congrats on your upcoming delivery!

Not me, I don’t really post much on IG. I just drool at all the cool places people go and mods to trucks.

I believe they said 10-11 months. I had a feeling it would be longer because of how popular they are. I still don’t see anything as nice or better on the market.

I have the bed rails that Vagabond sells. How do they attach? They simply replace the oem plastic bed rails. With the exception of the "upper" roof, my Drifter is powder-coated.
Sorry for the not-so-great pic... the majority of my photos has my ugly mug (which I am sure no one wants to see)... or includes the grand kid.

Still trying to decide. I have looked at a polish/wax like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FALVXC...colid=4ENP5DNX8KAI&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it but would like something more long term like a clear coat to still show off the metal. Maybe a clear powdercoat of sorts? That might mask the metal more than you/I want thought. Maybe ask Phil if he can recommend something because I would be interested as well.

Only had it since October... so I guess only time will tell. BTW, it'd bug me too.
