What do you think of Dire Straits?

 

I did not know that Black & Decker made 4-wheel drive Dustbusters!

 

She said the guy is supposedly coming this weekend and doesn't know the brand yet other than he said something about a merger or someone building the system under another brand name. She also said that she told him that she would prefer Trane or American Standard so we will see what he brings.

 

What did he quote her? Less than five grand? Ain't gonna be no Trane or American Standard!

 

Yeah he definitely quoted her under five, I told her not to get either of the 2 you listed.

 

This would be me after seeing your ex's electric bill during the winter...

 

She is convinced that it's going to save her thousands, I told her to just keep her expectations in check.

 

By getting a heat pump she will definitely save thousands. That meme is in reference to her current heating system!

 

I have no idea what she pays with her current system.

 

Very good band. I really like Mark Knopflers guitar playing, very talented guy.

I like most of rock and roll bands from that era, they dont have music like this anymore. That music is timeless.

Shortly before Christmas in 1999, my parents left me at my dad’s friend’s house with his kids in the care of a babysitter. This was when we were living in Virginia Beach, but I forget who the friend was (99% sure it was somebody my dad knew from the Navy).

At some point during that evening, we started playing hide and seek. I was one of the hiders, along with one of my dad’s friend’s kids. The hall bathroom had a bathtub/shower combo with a curtain. We stood in the bathtub with the curtain drawn, and the teenage babysitter and one of the other kids came into the bathroom; They didn’t even come all the way into the bathroom, certainly didn’t open the shower curtain, and left without taking a closer look.

We stood in the tub for at least another ten minutes while they looked for us; Finally, they said they gave up and came out of hiding.

 

My computer/keyboarding teacher in 12th grade was this very attractive woman in her early 30s. Fast-forward about 12 years and we reconnected on social media; I’d told her about the high-powered stereo system in my Tacoma and we’d been talking about our favorite bands and songs...

“Money for Nothing” by Dire Straits came up; Let’s just say my former teacher is very into the “420” scene. I happened to be at her house one night in December 2018, and she was stoned and looking to satisfy a case of the munchies.

She was too high to drive, but I was sober, so I drove us to the McDonald’s that was probably less than two miles from her house. She proclaimed “I want my MTV!” so I cranked up “Money for Nothing” and practically blew my milfy 43-year old former teacher right out of the front seat!

I was talking to my personal trainer at the gym yesterday, and she told me that she and her husband fart in front of each other fairly often, albeit by accident; Their marriage is quite strong!

 

As long as it’s not on purpose

 

One time my uncle farted in the family's Dodge Durango with his wife and two daughters inside, and then locked the windows; They divorced six years later over something completely unrelated.
