Those things look kinda cool. One question I have is are they suitable to the engine bay due to heat?

I definitely need to read up more on them. I figure for wiring jobs they'll be fine behind the dash, but I'm definitely more worried about anything outside that

    So true!
Oh shit...I forgot a Toyota 1KZ Diesel swap so I can run my truck on fryer oil (I have access to an endless supply of fryer oil). This also requires I live somewhere with no smog. Good luck with that...pfft.

I don’t mind butt connectors if I am bringing multiple wires into one line or something. But most of my connectors I don’t solder, I use the high quality crimp connectors with a good self ratcheting crimped that is also a weather seal shrink one too.

Yeah... :anonymous: the butt connectors I used aren't the greatest, hence why I'm slowly ripping them out.

I recently found the remains of wiring from like 6 years ago. Shit was gross.

I can only imagine. Hopefully I can prevent that shit from happening with a little TLC and cable management.

Nice! And here I thought I was going to wait until I did rock lights to order some.

I mean, you do have a buggy that needs to be wired eventually ;)

Did you ever end up installing any bump stops in the rear?
