I've got a Summit bumper, and I'm trying to figure out how to mount my Baja fogs in place of the ARB factory fogs. If this was an ARB for a previous gen, Paranoid Fab, Slee, etc make brackets for this. The Summit bars, however, mount the Fog separate from the indicator lights. This means that these adapters do not work.

I'm creating this thread to document my journey to filling in the Fog pockets on this bumper. Right now I see a few options:
    1. Hack up the ARB plastic fog shrouds to do something like this: https://adventure-ready.com/fully-kitted-5th-gen-4runner/[IMG]
    2. Purchase fog lights from Australia - the ARB bumper is far more popular there and it makes sense that they would have more options. The Stedi option seems to be the one to go with.https://www.stedi.com.au/arb-summit-bullbar-led-fog-light-replacement-kit.html[IMG]
    3. See what vendors are interested in making something.
    4. Make my own (I've got a dremel...what could go wrong...)

I’m having the same issues as well. 3rd gen with same bumper wanting to upgrade to amber led fog. I emailed ARB a while ago but still no response.

I called Slee also and they are working on something with no details on timeframe.

we came up with a new bracket just for these. They work with Baja designs lights (with their normal bracket)

No shame in your game

when you say standard mounting bracket will work you’re referring to the main u-shaped bracket mounted to the light, correct? Just clarifying since there’s other BD fog kits that go into stock bumper fog location which I think has other metal mounting plates.

correct, you need the normal U shaped one, not the one that comes with the toyota specific fog lights. I might start offering those brackets also if it ends up being a requirement.

And to think I was writing off the ARB Bumper because it won't fit my favorite BD Fog Lamps! Don't have that excuse any more.....thanks TW!

I really want to hate that ARB Summit bumper, its heavy, it looks from the 1800s, its heavy, its got a fat lip and probably does not have a good approach angle for that reason, its heavy, did I mention that its heavy?

But every time I look at it I tend to want it more and more, idk why. lol

I have had two on two different trucks. I absolutely LOVE them, and the one on my 2G probably saved my bacon when a guy coming in the opposite direction decided to cross the double yellow and hit me. I'm sure the crumple zones would have done their job and whatnot, but the bumper ended up pushing him off me. Granted, it ruined my frame, but still.

The only reason I don't have one on my 3G is there's simply too much cutting on the new truck. On my 1993 it bolted on. On my 2013 you had a sliver of the OEM bumper so I ordered a Sortafit bumper to hack up and fit and kept my OEM bumper intact ($200 cash in my pocket to a member on here after my truck was written off). the 3G bumper requires cutting the bumper, grille and flares. Maybe if the grill didn't need to be cut, I'd do the same thing (Sortafit bumper and OEM flares) but the grille is a part I cannot easily do without getting a total second grille.

I still miss having one on at least a weekly basis.
