Nitto has a 275 summer tire that can fit the stock 17’s on my grandpa muscle limo :burnrubber:

Thank you! I have only driven my truck a few miles since the ecu flash, and currently I don't have an AFR or boost gauge. Its in the works tho. Looking forward to reading more about the black hole of boost! There is about a thousand pages of BS to go through, but everyone is having a good time.

Selection isn’t great when I start searching for wider summer tires that fit the narrow 7.5” width. If I stick to stock sizing it’s fine. I’m on 245/45-18 now because the stock 18’s look better.

Edit- originally I wanted to send out 2 of my stock 18’s to get widened and just slap a 285 on but that seems like a big hassle

everything is a hassle with a hotrod. but it would be cool.

Hello, and welcome new boost brother! Welcome to the fold and feel free to ask questions! We are all here to help you out.

No idea man, this stuff gets lost in translation that you gotta be on it if you want to save critical posts. If you want to try to find it, the magnifying glass up top should help you out. Just type in TVS or twin screw and make sure you limit the search only to this post.

Between this one and the HP Tuners one, its like crack!

This and the HP Tuners thread is where all of the tuners, builders, and general legit modders of the TW forum come to hang out. It's like one giant melting pot at this point, and you will find not a soul here who is about the BS and here to cause problems.

If you have plans for re-gear at some point. 4.56 with 285's was perfect pre-S/C I can only imagine how it would be with it

Agreed! When and why would I want to add this? Only ask as I will be swapping out the fuel pump soon so debating if I should change out the filter setup. Tried to hit up URD for jus the filter relocate but they would only sell the kit. Does not seem required but if I am in there for not too much more I can swap it out.

I have not done it yet because swapping my fuel filter came along with swapping a long range tank solo on the floor without a lift. It was a rough night. However, this is the same filter that URD advertises which I intend to place inline at a later date.

im less than pleased with the urd hose clamp on a fuel line. mine is showing evidence of fuel weeping at that point. i want better.

a good ol $8 eh. worth adding that? well see how it goes. Mainly trying to line it all up so I don't have to drop the tank twice or get back in there at least right away.

That is good to know. I was less than pleased with the lack of wanting to sell the relocate kit without the fuel pump. hear too many mixed feedback on URD. Saw the man at FJ Summit, was not any more happy in person.

This is external so you can do it at a later date. I didn't use anything but the provided little "sock" inside my tank. Some would call me crazy, but it was my first time and I was trying to fabricate brackets and not just focused on the pump. This filter is a simple cut, flare ends, attach filter on the inbound line and can be replaced periodically without ever dropping the tank.

I got these pliers and clamps for my all my fuel lines requirements (mostly small engines). The pliers work fine for 1" and below, but some complain of leverage issues on the larger clamps. I got no complaints.

If you had a time machine then I would suggest when you bought the truck, but now would work. Good filtration to protect the injectors and of course etoh protection (e10-e85) since it is hygroscopic and you never know the condition of the fuel and the gas stations storage condition.
