Knipex snap ring pliers and ball joint press. I have the Total Chaos uniball tool and it helps.

Oh, I'm interested in one of those decked systems for my 2016 long bed but am concerned after reading his post that my mountain bike wont fit in the back under the canopy anymore?

For sure not something to skimp on. I don't go snow wheeling but occasionally I go snowboarding at Mt. Hood and I figure it's something that is nice to have just in case. I've been boarding since 2003 and have never needed them but I don't want to be in a situation where I say to myself 'damn I wish I had a set.' I figure I can pick up a decent set and leave them in my truck for if I ever need them.

I have snap ring pliers for days, all sizes and angles from a past career. I don't have that fancy uniball tool though...feel like renting it out?

That's the problem I have with those systems, love the concept but they take up so much damn space it just doesn't make sense for me

I don't have a decked system, but I do have a diy drawer system/platform. I think you could get a mtn bike in if you took the front wheel off, leaving it on maybe possibly if you got it positioned juuust right

Doesn't look like you needed convincing, but Mr. Abandon has borrowed tools from me in the past and was very respectful of my time and took good care of my tools. He's a good dood

ARB bull bumper, warn 9000 with synthetic rope, icon CO's & 700lb coils, road armor rear bumper, dakars + Archive Garage shackle flip.
I have the press tool for the total chaos, not sure if the icons use the same, but basically a big oversized socket and a little similar diameter to the uniball socket will work in place of the official press tool. Other than that you'll need a vice or heavy duty c-clamp and snap ring pliers. Depends on how long the current uniballs have been in there and what condition they're in. I had to heat one of mine up for it to come. Otherwise pretty straight forward.

EDIT: just saw @JDAM could help you also.

Not mine. Full aluminum RCI skids. Seems priced a little high, considering the abuse. upload_2020-1-10_13-32-7.jpg
