If you’re willing to come south to Port St Lucie, I can do it.

First range I ever went to was DCRGC, shot my 7mm Magnum, Nagant, Mauser, whatever we wanted with no complaints from the RO's. As long as you were responsible, they were nice. Makes me want to go back. Everyone raves about Reload in Tarpon now bu Indoor ranges are meh.

are we gonna be doing Citrus this year? the weekend that was voted is booked from some other event it seems like, but nobody else is really chiming in on date changes or really anything else. I wanted to go again, but its already a month out and nothing has really been set in stone, im almost at the point of calling it myself and not going, which would really suck imo. but I know people like, especially Lee are busy with other more important life stuff, so...yeah lol

Anyone know any shops in Space Coast area for installing bumpers? I bought the SOS hybrid front and HC rear with swing out and got them right before i left the states for a few. And my buddy that was going to help me ended up getting transfer orders so hes going to be busy when i return... Just dont feel comfortable cutting the truck myself.

By the looks of it, I don't think it's going to happen. A lot of the regulars already aren't going, and I've seen ZERO interest from anyone else really besides you and a few others. But at the same time, if it does happen, a smaller turn-out means faster-paced wheeling which is always a plus.

The irony here is that the WAC in Clearwater is right on the end of the runway of the St. Pete/Clearwater Int'l airport and shooters are shooting towards the airport, yet it's still going strong. It's about the same distance from me as Dade City and in all honestly the facilities are superior even if they have some crappy rules for semi-auto rifle shooters (I'm not sure if the one round at a time rule is still in place since the last time I shot there more than a decade ago I had a girl shooting an AR a mag at a time next to me ejecting her hot brass down the collar of my shirt, causing me to screw up what might have been my best group of the day due to a misfire when a piece of hot brass caught on my collar searing into my neck making me accidentally misfire thanks to the 2 oz trigger pull on my match rifle).

As far as handloading, I haven't really ever tried a chrono and I do just fine. You just have to be super precise with your loads, sorting the bullets by weight, precise powder charges, neck turning your brass, seating the bullets into the lands, etc... With my 6.5mm BR, I was shooting sub .5 MOA groups right out of the box and was getting close to .25 MOA groups with some of the loads I was testing.

What confuses me is that my 6.5 BR has pretty much identical performance as .260 Remington and 6.5 Creedmoor cartridges in spite of having a much smaller case capacity. I wish someone could explain that to me, but I'm guessing it's because I'm generating similar chamber pressures with a faster burning powder.

If you're willing to bring them down to Port St. Lucie, I'll do the install for you for way less than a shop will charge.

Thanks for the offer. Depending on scheduling with @Trident904 may ask. Once im back on land first thing i need to do is check the primer i did right before i left. did a kind of rush job in a dark garage. so may need to sand down and redo the primer then im just going to bedline both of them. So it would be roughly beginning March. but id be down driving mostly to anyone on here since i know everyone is really helpful. main thing i need is tools, and someone to help with the cutting and lifting. never done anything like this before. but im excited to get it all done.
