Tacoma is loving the warm weather so far. 4 Runner, still a little gas hungry, but, she's fun as hell to drive, so doesn't matter.

That's really nice, thanks for sharing. I looked at the nautical blue , I love how the color changes in different lighting.

I get around 18, but I drive mainly in the city to commute. On the highway my guess is low 20s. Everything is stock.

I recently purchased a 2020 Venture. All stock. I am averaging 16. Thought that my ‘13 Taco was gas hungry at 17-18 MPG...

with my '19 4Runner Offroad, if I am mindful of the gas pedal, i get 20-20.2 mpg driving across Houston in traffic with mostly highway and some city stop/go.

Still trying to fix mine, it jumps around randomly and her power level feels off... The mpg's jump around low 17s to the low 20s. All with the same driving.

I'm used to getting more than vehicles list. When I had a 2nd gen taco I always averaged 20-22 mpg daily, long trips I could get 24 mpg. And one time I got 28 mpg during a super long drive where I kept her at 55 mph. Haha

I was barely getting 18 mpg on my stock trdop. Although I did have stock size KO2’s which may have lowered the mpgs slightly.

    15.1 MPG ave.

3" lift, steel skids, slider, Prinsu rack, hidden winch bumper with winch. KO2 E rated probably kills it the most.

it's going to be really interesting to review this thread in 5 years with whatever they do with the next Gen and with the push from all automakers to go all electric in the next 15-20. Mileage on my Taco is acceptable but will be moving onto a 4runner soon with growing fam

The low mileage wasn't a problem for me until a month ago. I was satisfied to only have 16K miles on my 5 year old vehicle knowing it was only for fun. Then they took away my work vehicle and almost at the same time have me working in the main office which is 35 miles each way instead of 17 in the worst traffic in the USA.

This is costing me an extra $350/month in gas and adding way more miles on my 4Runner than I wanted.

I am now trying to convince my wife to buy a new vehicle so I can ride her current RAV4 to work for now.

I just got a lift and I'm about to upgrade to 285/70R17 KO2 load C's. Hopefully my mpg don't drop too much but I will update once I get enough miles.

Ouch! $350 is like another car payment which would make a strong case for commuter car!

Depends on who's driving. My wife gets about 13mpg. I get about 23mpg on the same trip. She races to every red light and brakes hard. I coast up to lights and try to avoid using the brakes. She's tries to better her 0-60 time at every opportunity. I take 11 miles to get up to speed. I coast down hills, she uses them as an aid to find the speed limiter.

My 4Runner gets way better MPG’s than my 2017 taco did.

Tacoma had 1” lift, and 275’s and would get 17 at best during summer and as low as 13.5 in the winter.
4Runner is on 3” lift, 295’s, and gets 17.5-18 during summer and currently during winter haven’t dropped below 15.5.

On the good side my work just offered an early retirement. I accepted it. 1 year 7 months instead of 4 years 8 months.

I will tough it out but it sucks how many miles I will pile on in that time.
