Just blown away by this stuff. I bought my 3rd gen in mid Oct 18. Washed it one time and put Ceramic Pro UK on myself. That was in April. Stuff does not stick to it. I have not had to wash it since! I have done lots of polymer coatings since they came out in the 70's. In the last decade used only the best from Adam's and Zaino and their products are excellent. But NOTHING comes anywhere close to this ceramic stuff. Never had a coating that made you wish for a rain so that the patina of dust is washed off. Yes, it's left with a very slight patina that the rain doesn't take off, but I bet if I broke out the suds cannon and pressure washer I could get most of it off without touching it. It's new until the finish micro-abrades from overdoing the wash mitt, so anything that keeps the mitt off the clearcoat is a blessing. Funny part is...it ain't bad enough to warrant breaking out the mitt. From 20 feet it looks like a new truck, except for a little brake dust. It is so nice to not have the guilt of putting off a car wash session on me like a stalking butler.

If there is better ceramic coating out there, I want to try it. This stuff though...WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MINUTE OF MY TIME TO DO IT. Done in April, these pictures taken in July, not washed then, STILL haven't!

A hint for you guys: Two coats of Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant on the mudflaps, frame and wheel wells, and anything else you can reach up under there. Nothing will stick to it either. Sheds mud like you siliconed it up under there. I'm serious as cancer: it stays clean up under there!

Yeah I used the quartz 3.0 on my RS and now the taco, the stuff is legit. I did a full paint correction with both a rotary and a orbital, 6 different levels of cut after claying the whole thing. Then put the quartz on. Paint is perfect mirror reflection smooth with no wave, orange peel or micro scratches and DAMN does the quartz make it shine. Also makes it easy as hell to wash now too. Anyone scared of the price, it's totally worth it. Sooner you do it,the less likely you are to need to take the extra steps like I did. Taco paints pretty soft.

It's like Teflon. The stuff that makes a car look dirty just doesn't stick to it. I'm about to strip two layers of Zaino Z5 off my G8 and go back with Essence/Quartz 3.0 UK/Gliss. Zaino's Z5 is awesome and it looks good now, but next to the Taco with ceramic? No contest. Going to do a paint correction with the Porter Cable with some of Adam's polishes to set it up right before doing the ceramic stuff. Wheels and windows too.

Is there a good video that would show me the proper technique of applying this?

This same channel should have videos on Gliss and Essence as well. Another good channel to check out would be Apex Detail. He's got plenty of videos showing coating application. While there are many coatings available, they all apply in generally the same way.
