I swear I own the only color Tacoma that doesn't look good with a Prinsu...

As do I, but for some reason I've yet to see one with a Prinsu that looks good. Only option I see is to go with a fiberglass shell and do the cab and shell racks all the way back, and/or have the front/sides powder coated a different color (gunmetal perhaps). After getting a warning from the Park Rangers in Grand Teton for having an unsecured cooler in the bed in 'Bear Country' I've been considering selling off the Rago setup I have and doing a shell, but have to also figure out how to handle carrying the road bike in back with it.... not to thread-jack your thread or anything... I had a beer with lunch and just rambling on...

I'd say this is a pretty solid setup.

Are you saying you didn't use the $40 Cali Raised Brackets or you did? Wondering it it's necessary with the Prinsu Rack

You definitely can’t use the brackets the light bar comes with, the lightbar doesn’t mount properly with them.

To mount to the prinsu we recommend getting our bracket to make it a 100% bolt-on solution.

I used the Cali Raised brackets, as opposed to the ones that came from (I assume) the light bar manufacturer.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on getting the cable from the Cali Raised light bar cable to fit in the channel on the A-Pillar, I'm all ears. mine is still just half-way sandwhiched in there atm. I have a '19 Off Road

So, it suffices, but it's not "in there." I tried with a flat-head that had painter's tape wrapped around the tip, but it was not going in. I watched a few videos online, but most of the Tacos in the clips were 2016-17. I'm not sure if the '19 has slightly different A-Pillars or not, but it was not going in without damaging the cable.

    User error?
