Did you run two separate Schraeder valves or T the lines together and only use one? I plumbed them together which I read is better for off-roading but not as good for towing heavy loads. I have the truck for towing.

T'd to a single port. My T4R is the same and worked great with stock springs for years and I kept it when I put the 1" Eibach's in.

Embracing that EAF lifestyle. Now to figure out how to attach them. I am thinking 4 titanstraps.

I was thinking that as well but didn’t want to have to deal with cutting them off and adding new ones. Love the titanstraps on the work van.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
But you are only going for the EAF points so you wont need to take them off ever. They are just for looks.

With Bozeman being too expensive to buy a house with land we decided to move to Charlotte, NC to be closer to family. Loaded up the camper and trailer and started driving. Lexus is doing great pulling a 6500lbs trailer. Just got into Georgia today so almost there. Have gotten a thumbs up from a guy passing me in a truck hauling a stock GX470 and a guy in a modded 5th gen 4runner flashed me with his hazards as he passed. @thefatkid you were right. Keeping it in 4th going 55-60mph is perfect. Averaging about 10mpg as well.

@Wulf Chevy was getting 9mpg cruising at 55-60mph. That’s what I get driving it around town completely empty

Update. It’s bloody hot and humid down here! Found some speed tables to test out the king suspension. Already bottomed out the Lexus on one of them.

Adjusting to the south pretty good, food is 1000 times better than Bozeman. Been living at a RV park for 5 weeks now. Found us a house on 3.3 acres close to the city but we also can’t see our neighbors from the back deck. It also has a shop so it’s time to start buying and selling vehicles and motorcycles. Hopefully closing on the 30th.

Took a trip up to Boone, NC last weekend and cruised on the blue ridge parkway for a little bit.

The GX looks good. Best of both worlds with the GX and the 3500. Even with only a 4-speed transmission the 8.1L just makes a fantastic gasser tow. Good luck with the move.

Thanks! The 3500 has the 5-speed Allison. If I ever get the transmission rebuilt I can add the 6th gear using the same housing. Now I just need to add a cheap fuel efficient vehicle to the fleet. Thinking a older Honda Fit or maybe a Volvo wagon.

Cool, I had the 8.1L in a K2500 Suburban. Great tow vehicle. The Suburbans, unfortunately, did not get the Allison.
