    thanks for the pics!
my taco is under adhoc mods & repairs
been fighting the damned climate, cannot get much needed done
my '79 Corolla that lasted 25 yrs (had it for 12) developed a large hole under the driver floorpan that all the mid west snow came filling the inside floor in winter, i remember it being quite an adventure car (heater/defrost did not work either) ... so far my Tacoma is doing ok in this area

Im suffering the same, usually working outside on my own. 2 bad hips don’t help either. All at 32 years of age...
I’m down to my last major issues but I cannot figure out what is killing my fuel mileage. Did all the usual suspects, short of just not upstream 02 and maf clean. Getting 12mpg ligt footed

do you have the slightest clue how this rot all started?
i was deep into my front wheel wells spraying and checking to see if this should be a concern of mine
my '79 Corolla rotted through the floorpan which was nice delivering pizzas in the early 90s with snow coming in and covering feet trying to shift gears lol

Easy enough to diagnose; north east winters. Snow on boots, melt, replete- 25 years later... no driver floor. $100 and an evening with my fabricator and it’s fresh and solid again. as water tight as a basketball.

Did those 4runner seats bolt right up or did you have to modify the brackets?

the inside rails do, I cut the brackets off the stock bench and welded them on the outside rails , I’ll be honest it shifted the seat up a little so I had to add a bracket to compensate but it’s alright now. If i has it to do over again I might hold out for some corbeau or sparco type Seats.

Try the heat gun method, it will definitely fix the light spots and get rid of some dull areas

where do you find one and approximate cost?
i am on the fence what to do with mine... powdercoat harleyD black :notsure: or something like you have might look quite decent on a black truck

Amazon or eBay and fab your own brackets. I’d keep it stock since it’s a oem part. Sr5 looks nice! I just got a 22rethan trd skid to accompany it and am working on some custom tow hook mounts

also to answer your question. I do like the stock chrome flares, I want to paint match the 01-04 flares and see if I can put the chrome back on

Anyone have an issue shifting into first at low speed? I can only get in at a stop. No usually a problem unless I’m basilly stopped and need first

yes, i cannot remember the last time if ever i could throw into first while on the roll, and i ain't gonna force it, so dead stop i must
also lately it seems going from 1st to 2nd takes some finessing, very subtle and delicate...
but maybe somebody out there figured it out

just did clutch and shifter bushings, fork flywheel and everything but the master/slave. So it’s not a clutch issue
