Yup. Eric O on the South Main Auto Channel on Youtube says pretty much the same thing. Fix the radio or AC before fixing the actually necessary items.

I think I was in around $200 for new rotors, good pads, caliper pins/springs, fluid, and caliper paint.

Still didnt get rid of the vibration I get when braking hard from high speed. Steering wheel doesnt shake so I think the drums need turned.

I've done a mod or two
I've had really bad luck with new rotors being out of round. I'm sure someone at work would get pissy but I'd honestly turn them yourself if you can. The brake lathes at AutoZone are ass trash and those guys never take a clean finish cut.

Id need those rotors to get to work lol :p. Its not a pressing issue, been going on for over a year now and only when hard braking at highway speeds. Next time it goes in to a shop for any reason Ill ask. But I think its the rears since my steering wheel doesnt shake. And I do like to keep my drums adjusted well, so I know theyre being used.

    Rotors are Brembo Blanks btw.

Cool, if you pass me the model number or the link to the vid you watched on the repair, I can check it out and see if there were any pointers or little things that come to mind with that particular model:D

Great website and videos and resource.... Even with the 80s Jerry curls:rofl:
You'll be good. Those vids are thorough as well. If something seems to not be like they're showing on the vid, don't hesitate to ask

I was more surprised with the push button 2-4 selector. I thought that was 2000+. According to the listing, it came out of a 98 Runner. Since it appears from the first pic to have a push button selector, wouldn't that mean ADD?

Nope that's been available since the beginning of the Tacoma, though yes it is typically accompanied by add
