    We need it! Been pulling ticks off the dogs all week. They need to be frozen and killed, then it can warm up all it wants!

    We have stuff they take, we just don't use it in winter to give them time off of the poison. We also are all woods and have a ton more ticks than anywhere else I've lived, even people in the next town over. The meds they have kill anything that bites them, and it does work well. It doesn't stop them from going on them tho, some walks in the summer there are 10-20 ticks on some of our dogs just crawling around. They go into everything and aren't ever on a leash.

    The med collars have given two of our dogs seizures, so we don't use them anymore, just the pills. Which again, work well, but don't keep them off the dogs.

    I hear ya. Our woods and yard are LOADED with ticks, and it's been even worse since I can't free range the chickens anymore...(Stupid hawks) Whatever you have to do to keep the dogs healthy...
