I'm interested in buying the morimoto headlights as well; what is your take on them? Also which website did you order from?

ps how is the fitment on the truck in your opinion? Any major gaps or anything you didnt like?

I'm debating these same headlights; what do you like most (and least) about them?

Drivers side RCI rock slider installed. PITA. Instructions poorly written, but great quality.

    They are much brighter.
Fully adjustable both high and low (r/l, U/D)
    No chrome
    Plug and play
Full LED so no bulb changes

    Dislike:
You can’t turn the running lights off without unplugging them.

Running light connection is a bit janky

I actually think the stock running lights have a better look with just the bottom led.

thanks man! So you think they could pass as OEM in terms of their look? I'm trying to avoid that cheap/cheesy after market vibe

    Always on USB mod.

Removed the radio and reached behind the dash and easily popped out the Qi charger plug and replaced it with this:

    https://www.amazon.com/Cllena-Charg...t&qid=1563028559&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1

I then reattached the Qi plug behind the dash and tucked it away, making sure it wasn't turned on.

I ran the ground cable from the USB to an already existing ground that was located behind the radio on a piece of framing, then ran the power to an add a fuse tap to the fuse box in the truck. Easy! And so happy I now have a USB that works no matter if the truck is on or off.

Back from powder coating and instal thanks to avid off-road, they did awesome work. Bumper is SSO, happy to hopefully get out of getting stuck a little easier.

No link- they come with the tonneau, or at least the ones I think are made by Truck Hero (Extang, Gator, Tyger, etc.)- yes, a lot are made by the same company. I have an extra that's all yours if you PM your address:

They look like they could have been OEM. Beautiful construction. And DOT approved.

2nd on my list after a lift.
One question, Why did you go with avid over others?

So the bumper is southern style off-road but I had avid powder coat/ instal because they did my sliders and bed rack which have been solid plus I worried about cutting the painted bumper. Anytime something is out of my range I go to avid because I can trust them. They always do great work at a very reasonable price. Also I like to support local companies

I noticed you have the TRD PRO rigid industry fog lights (me too)....how's the color match on the fog light compared to your morimotos?

Running power wires to the brain now and should be done, hopefully tonight, this has been a bigger pain then I originally thought

I still need to drive to the wall and make the final adjustment.
