Great oil great deal. warren private labels its oil and does not spend a lot on marketing. Engine oil is a commodity that has performance specifications. Everything else is marketing appealing to making you respond emotionally and pay more because the bottle of certain brand with certain words makes you feel better.

Mine too. I spent countless hours researching and a small fortune on UOAs throughout two decades. I am very particular which oil is used in my high performance cars, Tacoma on the other hand is not the vehicle to stress over. I bet it'll do just fine even on Dyno oil diet as long as one keeps reasonable OCIs.

I bet it's this oil relabeled: https://www.amazon.com/Mag-20139-0W...f=sr_1_3?keywords=mag+1&qid=1579325568&sr=8-3 I used it in a Sienna that I leased to a friend for Uber/Lift use. He racked up over 60k trouble free miles in two years without burning a drop.

    Yes it is.
I am just as prone to marketing as the next guy, I will buy Mobil 1 when it is on rollback prices and my inventory is low. Or Havoline 6 quart boxEsof the DS pro synthetic Or when I hear of a clearance at auto zone I will stock up on Rotella gas truck. Hell if, Shell wants to pay me to use their-oil I will take 24:quarts or so. Thank you. Nice oil.

This guy used exclusively cheap supertrech oil. This is after 30k miles. Beware!

Exactly. That’s the cheap regular Supertech oil, not the expensive synthetic Supertech!

I dunno man that's a timing chain there. Must be a newer Toyota engine which calls for synthetic. If it were a timing belt engine I'd believe that.

Who knows. I just use Mobil1 and do the rebates which makes for a cheap oil change.DFFD9ECF-CCEC-43CE-806C-416E84F18377.jpg

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Unfortunately when you get the $12.00 rebate from Mobil, it degrades the quality of the oil. We all know the cheaper the oil, the worse it is. Therefore, $24 Mobil 1 is better than $12 Mobil 1.

Only the most expensive Mobil 1 at auto stores like O’reilly’s and Napa are the best. They may look the same as the Walmart or Costco Mobil 1, but it’s O’reilly’s/Napa’s special formulation of Mobil 1 made out of gold flakes and unicorn jizz. An insider who works in the oil industry told me so.

I bet that's what happened. There is NO WAY this could happen after 30k miles with regular OCIs, even if it's 10k each.

Well he likely googled a picture of a sludgy engine and posted it with that caption. No proof or factual basis behind his claim. One might call it BS.
