Why mount that to the DMM when the panel to the bottom left would work?

 

Meso has a nice panel that looks like it would work, but that's $125. Mounting it on the DMM would be easier to reach and cheaper easier install. May look cheesy though.

I used this in my Dremel to cut out the wire notches.

Outline it with a sharpie with the top plate in place. Used a lower speed so that it cuts instead of melts. 10ish.

Order 4271. First post on TW, for a great solution to get my cell phone with GPS based map APPs up high when off-roading outside of cellular coverage. There are several good map APPs that rely on GPS pings only, not cellular data. I use Avenza Maps, which has many free map downloads for US Parks, along with many other maps for a fee. For example, the Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for Ocala National Forest in FL is only available via Avenza, and shows nearly every road & trail in the park.

 

Almost 50 and we’re just past half of the month, looks like a 25% is absolutely going to happen. 30% still possible.

Groupbuy With order #4283 ; Paypal was acting funny so not sure if the discount went across properly! Stoked to get this.

 

Got my package today and went to do the install, got the 17mm adapter and mounted the magnetic mount from the CD slot mount. Filed out the cable slots and will run them behind the stock radio once I decide whether or not to run a tablet. Everything went together smoothly. I used a 3/16' bit with the top plate on to make the holes, I noticed they were pretty snug trying to get the mount screws in place, I went ahead and removed the plate and used a 13/64" bit to open the holes up. Worked like a charm and lined up nicely, didn't have to trim the inner tabs to tighten up the backing plates. All in all a nice package. Thanks Taco Garage. I'll be placing another order for maybe a couple more mount balls and possibly the tablet mount. Pic attached, but used my phone to take the picture. I'll do the heat shrink and cable run later, got dark and need to run to the hardware store later.
