Question about front frame crossmember

    Still thinking about it.
    The foremost frame member, which has the bumper mounts attached to it, seems to have adjustable inserts on the ends of it. Or maybe they aren't adjustable but they do seem to be bolted in. I was looking under there to see how a plow mount might attach and noticed them. What is this?

    I saw something like that in a picture on TW but my 2006 didn't have anything like that. That front crossmember is fairly weak so if you can bolt it to the frame somehow.

    Aw damn.. snapped it right off? I'll have to compare that pic to mine and see if it's similar. Thanks for the input.

    I cut it off to get rid of it hanging below the front bumper cover. I welded in a new one.
