Just a heads up that Harbor freight has a 4 pack of Haul-Master Ratcheting Tie Downs on sale for $6.99 for the 4 pack. Was $12.39.

You don't need to announce when HF has sales, as they are every day. Also there are many threads about HF.

Those ratchet straps are oddly robust. I must have a dozen of them. Would I trust it to keep an ATV, etc secure? No. But it'll hold all the lumber, couches, etc you need just fine.

If you have an android phone there is an app for HF coupons. These straps have had a coupon for that price for the past three months. I have two packs and have used them to transport my motorcycle with no issues.

Also, don't forget to pass up a free item when going.

Arb summit bumper. Morimoto led headlights and new grill. Grill and lights have sequential turn signals.
I used similar straps to hold lots of heavy items in trailers as a truck driver.
They will work fine for atvs and other stuff.
It's not how tight you make the strap but how much movement the item has.
As long as things don't move around that 400 lbs rating will hold a lot, just don't skimp and under strap. 1 is good, 2 is better.
Most loads shift because people don't know how to properly strap things down.

I used those for my atv when I first bought it. Bought them on my way to pick it up. 3 out of 4 broke on the way home...

HF straps are fine for light duty use and it doesn't hurt too bad when I forget them somewhere or they get nipped by someone who borrows them
