Thanks! I'm kind of toying with going to a 3rd gen, but they pretty much force you to take the LED headlights now. I'm not sure if I'm excited. The projectors look like they have a great pattern!

They are pricey, though you can get much better deals buying through the forum vendors who provide discounts vs buying full retail direct.

Are those Rigid SAE 360s made in the US? Price for the fog kit needs a nice $150-$200 haircut either way.

Their website says "designed, engineered, and tested in the US" which can be misleading. Props to them if they're making these in the states though. Simply because the cost is so high that anyone paying that much for anything built by someone making $5 a day in China is not making out well on that deal.

$580 for fog lights though...even if they are made in the US, not just assembled. With the wording on the website, I'm betting they are not made in the US

Well, more than 50% of Rigid production from my understanding is outsourced now after the buy out in 2016.

A ton of raw materials and off-the-shelf components like castings, injection molded parts, circuit boards, LED chips, etc. are often made by worldwide suppliers. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything completely made in one country these days. The world is flattening, better get used to it.

You tell ‘em. Tacomaworld needs a good lesson on how an economy, the division of labor, and human action work.

So here’s a link to “I Pencil” by Leonard Reed. Listen, I know none of you will actually read it, but I can at least feel good knowing I tried. https://fee.org/media/33856/i-pencil-final-proof-for-website-pdf.pdf

After reading about the millions of people, capital, and innovation required to make something as simple as a pencil, maybe, just maybe you all may feel better purchasing goods from anywhere in the world.

Then you can shake off that guilty nationalistic feeling about buying local goods, and maybe then you can read some Henry Hazlitt and discover exactly who is “protected” by tariffs. (Here I’ll just post a link to the blog post of chapter 11 of “Economics in a one lesson” which is a book you should carry in your glovebox at all times.)

Hey crashnburn have i missed your review on the DD SS3 Pro/sports (especially yellow)? Been keeping an eye on this thread about once a week but haven’t been able to find that review yet. 99% sure I’ll be ordering the SS3 Pro’s but want to see your review first just in case! It’s either these or the RI 360’s.

Review will be out soon hopefully. His test equipment software is incompatible on new iOS. Im waiting patiently but im 99% sure im getting the pros too. Ive jumped from wanting the Baja Design (SUPER FUCKING FAIL) "SAE" then Rigid 360s (expensive) and now the DD Pros. The DD fogs are priced just right and look to perform great!

    Here's @crashnburn80's post

Thanks for the update! Can’t believe i missed that post. I used the BD non SAE lights for a hot second and got tired of not having actual fog lights that can be used without blinding people... sold them and have been waiting on a good alternative since. These stock lights just dont cut the fog/rain like yellow light!
