Looking for input on a boat lift. I have a Bayliner element XL that is 18.5' but closer to 21' including the outboard. I am looking to get a boat lift, our lake is small/calm. I was given a price delta of $2k more for hydraulic. I am also looking to get a canopy.

How much effort are the manual ones with the big wheel to raise/lower? Is maintenance intervals/parts better on one than the other?

    Thanks.
