Not one hundred percent sure where to post this, if it's wrong let me know.

What tools are you guys bringing with you on the trail or on the road? What would you consider absolute essentials?

I carry what I call my offroad bag. Everything from repairing a flat to replacing an axle. Have been in Moab more than once we needed tools to repair someone's vehicle. If it wasn't for the tools and spare parts, our trip would have turned into a rescue mission instead of just a good day of wheeling.

I carry a serp belt and the couple tools needed to change it. Never have needed it, but twice have changed belts for others (non-emergency). I figure it's good practice.

If it breaks, you only have a couple minutes pull over and shut down, before it overheats.
