Here’s a sampling of the torque this engine has. It pulls in top gear. It’s not blistering acceleration but there’s some oomph there. If needed I can throw in a downshift or two and pull harder.

The Daddywagon went to see Ford vs. Ferrari last night. I enjoyed it thoroughly! It wasn’t blockbuster great but it was a very good movie. Since I am a definite Ford Mustang fan... 2 thumbs up!

There are many occasions when I think to myself I wish I got that on camera! I really like the 360 camera and editing the footage afterwards. All of the camera movement where I change camera angle is done after the fact! I am the only person within the car. The camera is on a pole wedged in between the front seats! Hopefully more to come!

Yeah. I gotta clean that up. Headliner material, and an upgrade to the mustang dash and console should help. Also while I’m at it additional sound deadening and replacing door seals and squeaky latches will quiet things down a bit.

you and my buddy would get along great...lol So hes got a newer vehicle--Veloster with turbo, quite fast for a small non v-8, he races a bunch of different vehicles and wins...so I guess the other day he was racing some BMW and a Mustang...going about 140...Mustang takes off and leaves him like he was dead in the water...LOL he said he was impressed which takes a lot...lol

Haha! Cool! I don’t think my car would even reach those speeds! No speedo but I suspect it gets a little over a buck. Maybe a buck and a quarter. The fun is the pull... the torque. Out-accelerating other vehicles while already at highway speeds is the fun part. Next move is a gearbox and an HPDE or track day.

Get a GPS... Cheap Garmins go for like 60 bucks.

    Speedo in a pinch.

I have a speedo... it’s just geared wrong and stops at 85mph. Haha! By geared wrong I mean its’ progressively pessimistic. By the time the speedo reaches 70 the car is probably doing 75. I did have a speedo app in my phone once but I got rid of it. Maybe I’ll download another one but probably not.

As you can see the Daddywagon sits pretty low. It always has... since I built it. A sleeper should look the part. I bought polyurethane spring isolators for all 4 springs in the car. The front end is stiff and harsh. While it makes for good handling on a track, northeast potholed roads dictate softer springs. I have 2004 cobra front springs to match the rear springs already in the car. The rear is soft but it’s too low. In addition to the polyurethane isolators I bought 1/2 spacers for the rear springs. I figure the back end is gonna be raised about an inch altogether. The front cobra springs are a big question mark. I figure a stock cobra has a soft enough suspension from the factory so I’m gonna roll the dice.
