I tried to send a PM but it wouldn't let me; I just wanted to thank you guys for your time, and say that the reason the previous thread got deleted is that somebody made some wiseass remarks and the mods found it easier to just delete the whole thread. Thanks again!

Back in the day, my brother and I went to Pismo dunes in his 86 4runner (I later bought from him). He’d never been to the dunes so a guy asked him what motor he had, he said 4cyl. Guy tells him to floorboard it up this dune. My brother forgot to say it was a turbo.

He lets off the gas just below the top, but will still catch enough air that we had time to look at each other with that “oh shit” look before landing.

Damn, that was 25 hears ago.

And the $1,250 non-powdercoat bumper without the light cutouts could be a possibility

My sister smoked the trans in our dads F250 at Pismo. She almost got away with it, until my dad asked the transmission repair guy what was wrong with it - full of sand LMFAO!!

My dad has this story that my mom used to hold the vehicle in place on hills, not with the brakes, but with the cluth.

He was following her in another car one day, and she comes up to a T on a hill, and while waiting for trafffic to clear, white smoke pours out. This was in the 60s.

It's going to be either the Badland Bumpers model that I found, or the one that @ColoradoTJ suggested...

It says there's welding required though...? Will this bumper be ready to mount on the truck when it arrives?

Some of their bumpers are full on welding, others come completed.

I would call Move bumpers and see.

Tried to fix a spot on my roof on my '13. Sanded right down to the primer. Took 18 months for me to paint the whole roof to get it right. Did it myself. Paint is close but a little darker than the rest of the truck. lol

What do you guys (and girls) think of a simple black bull bar for the front of my truck? I think it would look badass and really help out in low-speed "encounters", and they aren't too terribly expensive, but in the even of a serious accident would a bull bar do more harm than good?

Not a fan I think they look ugly as hell. But it’s your truck if you like it, stick it on there

I like it, but I'm worried about whether or not it would cause more damage than it would prevent in the event of accident.
