Fairbanks City Transit System Bus 142 is an abandoned 1946 International Harvester K-5 that is parked in a clearing along the Stampede Trail near Denali National Park. ... Bus 142 had a broken rear axle, which caused the crew to leave it where it now serves as a backcountry shelter for hunters, trappers, and visitors.

As far as I can find, it is still there.

IIRC this is a little ways after Stampede turns into more of a trail from a road and Denali is hidden in the clouds. I only caught a partial glimpse of it while I was there.

One of the many machines as you get further back on the trail.

People have to get rescued every year, and those are the lucky ones.

Do you know size folks are using? I looked and saw they have a couple different mm sizes. At least according to RockAuto.

Anybody know a great General Contractor in the Johns Creek area? I’ve got a big project that we started I need to hand off. A bathroom (didn’t start that yet), flooring, a little framing and then drywall and paint.

Yep. I read that the most recent death was something like August of 2019 and another before then in the same year. In July 2019, 3 German hikers had to be rescued.

According to this ^^^, you want these: https://www.amazon.com/Energy-Suspension-85140G-Sway-Bushing/dp/B00LSTUGV0

You can also get the red, of course, but there is a difference in the red and black other than color. Energy Suspension black components are "graphite impregnated." Black is also less likely to look dirty when dirty.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Dakar anyone?! Check out this hell of a score I found over the weekend. Someone put some serious money into this one.
