...that time Nazis murdered 600 people, burned their village and the ruins stand still, today

Oradour.info - check it out. I spent this weekend making the 8+ hour drive to set-foot in this village. I arrived before 0900 - and waited for the center to open. Walking through the center and the tunnel to the village I passed portraits of the citizens and made eye contact with each. It's stupid but i wanted to connect and somehow "tell them" "I see you."

^^Remains of a baby-carriage in the church; where close to 400 women and children were shot/burned-alive.

A little of this and a little of that.
Phenomenal photos. Oradour-sur-Glane is an atrocity of WWII.

One of the most enraging things about now are the growing multitudes of deniers. On many levels. Atrocities as well as accomplishments.

It’s important to remember and document.

    Thanks @DetroitDarin

Beautiful photos, it must have hurt to be so close to the atrocities but documentation is necessary. No one will forget what happened in WWII but it's good that people are so willing to fill in the gaps, the gaps that a lot of people may not have learned about in school.
