Thanks for the tip. It's a bit far from where I stay, but I'll keep this in mind.

If a truck is bought at one dealer, do you have to go back to that same dealer for any warranty / recall issues? Or are you allowed to go to another dealer? Same thing for any included maintenance / oil changes if they give you that.

You can service it and do warranty work at any dealer. They all come w/ 2yrs/25k (up to 4yrs/45k) of complimentary service as well. We have the Lifetime Power Train Warranty and it's good anywhere in the U.S./Canada.

Do dealers resent you if you bought it somewhere else and then you show up expecting them to do warranty/recall or included maintenance work at their own expense when they made no profit from selling you the truck?

They shouldn't at all. That was back in the 70's and 80's that, that type of stuff used to go on. Not the case anymore.

I've always wondered how manufacturers know if dealers are refusing warranties or other stuff they should be doing. It doesn't seem fair though to buy the truck at once place and then turn around and go to some other dealer and try to makem take care of you.

All the service departments and mechanics are a roll of the dice, depending on who you get working on the car. The good ones are the ones that take of things when things go sideways. With that in mind... I have been going to Sun Toyota for a while and they have been fair to me. Next favorite is Toyota of Tampa Bay. The service adviser I used to work with isn't there anymore, so who knows.

@CanesFan95, Looking for suggestions and one was given and then the guy suggested reached out to you on here. Take the time and start talking to him and see what he can offer you. If you are currently shopping any info on pricing or locating the set-up you’re looking for is free. Use the info to your advantage. Just cause you pick his brain or try to work a deal doesn’t commit you to buying until you sign the line in financing. Even on a cash deal.
Any Toyota dealership will service or warranty your truck. Some more mod friendly than other yes, some techs better than other, for sure.

I wish when I moved to Florida someone suggested a place to me. I would of started there. But I had to find dealers on my own, then play the game.
    Good luck.

@Scooter WCT, next time I'm looking for anything with Toyota I will shoot you a message knowing you are here and I'm located up in Citrus County.

I live in Spring Hill, born and raised actually lol. Looks like you live in the City of Hernando, people always get that and the county mixed up lol. I trail ride in Citrus WMA when I have free time, if you do any trail riding let me know and we can go sometime.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
Clearwater Toyota worked to what I wanted well a couple months ago.

After a recent experience with Stadium Toyota's "slick city" finance guy I would say "steer clear".
