    Hey guys,

I’m thinking of trading back to a Tundra after going from Tundra to Tacoma for a few years. Thoughts?

Let's start with this. Why are you wanting a Tundra? Is there missing things about a Tacoma that you want/need from the Tundra? I like the Tacoma build so far as it sits.

I have been considering a new Tundra trd pro Dbl Cab since I tow, nothing too heavy but Casita 17 SD travel trailer is 3,000+ loaded going camping, then I tow a Yamaha Rhino SXS several times a yr, deep into the Nevada desert off the paved rds. Kinda thinking we may need the bigger rear seats to take our twin grandkids camping soon too. Plus the added power would be nice over a Tacoma, however I tend to lean both directions, haha, Tacoma will tow these items ok, narrower body is better offroad, Tacoma better for city parking, main decisive factor is MPG. Maybe just wait on the new Tundra V6 see how it goes with mpg before doing anything. I can always buy a double cab OR 6 ft bed Tacoma and mod it out some for towing and offroad if the Tundra idea fizzles. Nice thing is my 06 Tacoma access OR 6 ft bed truck is over 175,000 miles yet is purring right along, so no rush.

I’m also thinking of switching to a Tundra Crewmax for the family/kids. Love everything about my Taco, except the cabin space, when it comes to loading it up with family. If it’s for more cabin space and/or for heavier towing, then it’s peobablt the right decision.

I'm planning on making the change soon myself. With hopes of adding another baby to the mix I am thinking that I could benefit from a little more space then the back of a Tacoma. A few more inches of leg room (car seat room) in the back of the Tacoma would make a world of difference.

If you are on good terms with salesman/dealership ask them to let you have a used 2019 for an overnight test drive, see how you like it. They gave me an 18TRD with 11000 miles to keep overnight and next day when I couldn’t decide between a Tundra or Tacoma

I had this a day while they buffed out a blemish on my 19’s door that I found when I picked it up, made me think maybe I should have got a Tundra lol

Don't know why you'd care what internet strangers thought.

Trading is always losing game for the buyer.

You have a sharp looking truck.

    Those are my thoughts. :)
