So I went to final wire everything up, but seem to have hit a few snags. The green repair terminals seem huge like 16ga while the black repair terminal is tiny like 24ga. Is this really correct? I mean it's possible to solder the two together, but it just seems awful strange that this is the solution. Also, someone mentioned that the switch from the scions fit, but there is no way the white connector is fitting in there. Does anyone know the correct part # for the male connector and if the repair terminals fit? All of these parts are OEM, but something is definitely hinky. I'd like to get my fogs added soon, so any help is appreciated.

I'm also now discovering that I potentially have another issue. As mine has a bed light/deck light, I cannot use the 2 existing green/beige connectors to pirate my switch lighting from can I? I would need a wire tap. I have a basic sr with no dealer addons, but that contradicts the guide. I'm flustered to say the least

You can t- tap them...or contact @KTJO 4x4, she's working on a T harness to mate with the bed light connector.

I was really hoping to avoid touching the factory wiring. I wouldn't mind making my own t harness, but I would think that sourcing the parts would be counterproductive. I've spent enough trying to get this set up, and almost wish I had just done the add a fuse method

If you don't use the towing brake harness, you can modify the pigtail (buy it, then) to provide the illumination the added switch needs...

You're saying I would need to buy the harness and then pirate the power from it? I'm thinking I may just ttap the power from the illumination circuitry.

I have a non-prewired Tacoma and I installed the OEM fog light stalk. I'm working on the wiring. Do you know where the extra two wires at pin 8 & 9 connect to? Based on the research, one wire should connect pin 26 of the ECU connector. I don't know which pins.

If I remember correctly pin 9 goes to the ECU from the factory, but in this case it shouldn't matter because it's a simple ground switch and that means there is no polarity. (imagine the stalk switch is basically touching 2 wires together to complete a circuit)

Also @caribe makaira kick ass job on finding those pin connectors!

Great!!! Any source where I can buy the two repair terminals. I searched for 0.64II on corsa-technic but couldn't find it.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram and/or part numbers for the short switch connector that is grey and the repair wires for it as well? I just want to make sure I get the correct parts this time

Try an audio supply instead. Memphis isn't Timbuktu. They do exist.

18 SR pre-wired, per the original post and pics, but at ECU pin 26 there is a blue wire already. Do I need to splice into this blue wire to use a switch?
