I was just about to say, I used to use the adapter with the breaker bar but after like the 3rd one I broke I stopped doing that.
I also seem to crack stubborn bolts free more consistently without the adapter, I think it adds some flex give in there... but might just be in my head.

Pretty much all my jobs have been done exclusively with 2" and 6" 3/8 drive extensions, and even numbered metric. 10, 12, and 14mm are the overwhelming majority. 16, 17, or 18mm might come in for larger repairs like the steering rack...but that's not a road/trail repair. My recommendation is at least a set of metric deep and standard sockets, ratcheting wrenches, and 2 large adjustable crescent wrenches (tie rod or alignment bolt adjustment).
You obviously need a torque wrench (but maybe not for emergency repairs), breaker bar (used every time for the wheels), and some 3/8-1/2 adapters. I use an old 12" section of copper pipe as an extension.

So basically your list looks tentatively good to me. +Maybe a set of screwdrivers.

I believe I have a 21mm for mine (6 lugs, though I'd be surprised if 5s were different)

This reminds me...some heavy gage wire that you can bend around stuff...this has gotten me off the trails more than once.

    8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21. Seems like I rarely use a 13, 16, or 18

Every joint takes torque from the socket.

If you have 5 extensions that is 10 joints trying to break loose the top bell housing bolts it is almost impossible .

... cheep ones all the time in the work truck. When I loan out tools I don't have to stick around to babysit. Keep it , its yours ... many times I have loaned out the good ones ... Snap-On ... Mac ... never to see them again. The good-heavy duty jumper cables, I do stick around to get them back, as it's me that is normally still connected to one end ...

I actually really like my Quinn brand 1/2” drive sockets from harbor freight.

Yeah, you can't wrap duct tape or tip ties around an exhaust that's falling off. Need some bailing wire for that.

Exactly, sometimes you need a heavy duty quick fix where tape and zip ties won't work.

Add some Misc lengths & gauge of wire & butt connectors, ya know, for when your dad breaks both rear shock mounts on his Jeep and bottoms out cutting fuel pump wires in the middle of the Mojave trail.........Just saying
