Thanks again to @pca501212 for posting the link for custom TRD wheel caps. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/custom-trd-method-nv-center-caps.513587/

I used some button head cap screws from Fastenal with the same thread pitch as the bolts provided in the TRD kit.

Since the button head screws were black unplated they there are almost like bare metal. After I installed them, I sprayed the cap with Krylon Fusion for Metal and Plastic in Black Satin. No priming required for that paint. That covered and sealed the button head cap screws so they won't rust while giving covering the caps and the original metal part from Method with the same paint. So far so good.

The black lugs came from Discount Tire along with the Michelin Defenders. The zinc-plated bead bolts have a gold tint the blends well with the truck's paint.

This turned out better than expected.

Those are good looking wheels. Hard to find good looking aftermarket wheels

What rim width did you go with? I'm planning to get 17s wrapped in 285/70s...I assume since TireRack measurements are based on 8.5", that's ideal? Sorry, new to all these different size options...

The 17's only come in 8.5 For me this width w/ this offset of 0 is perfect with 285. Doesn't sit in nor sit out a lot. Just enough poke for my liking.

I have a set of 305's wrapped in 265/75/16 duratraks with custom center caps and they look amazing. Going to be upgrading to 255/85 Cooper ST Maxx soon. I bought a set of 4 305's on Carparts.com last September and paid $534.19 shipped. I will be buying a 5th when I get new rubber. But now all the 305's I've found are $220+/ea. I remember thinking that deal was screaming but now I know it was. haha

Pic was before rubber was cleaned. And the center cap matches the wheel far better than the picture does justice.

I don’t care for 95% of the Tacoma aftermarket wheels. These look great though!

Does anyone know if these wheels require extended studs? I bought a set last week and the guys who installed them were a bit concerned about the portion of the stud the lug nut can actually grab (a bit more than half of the stud)

I've the NV's/305s. Had them on a 4R for a while then moved them over to my 3gen on the stock studs. A lot of miles and many rotation services with out issues. What lug nuts are you using to have the installer be concerned??

No experience but I have something similar, Double Standards. No need for extended studs but might be a good idea for extended lug nuts.

Finally pulled the trigger and got some.
Method 305s, 265/75/16 with Falken Wildpeaks.
Stock suspension with no rubbing. Love the ride so far. Very quiet and smooth. Looking forward to seeing how they handle in the NE winter snow.
