My center u-joint has failed. A few months ago when I greased the zerk fittings, I was unable to add grease to the center u-joint. I made a mental note but unfortunately forgot about it and now its too late.

I called Toyota and they inform me I'd have to buy a complete drive shaft because they don't sell this U-joint seperately! So I start browsing the web, and there is nothing anywhere that fits the GRN245 chassis (4x4 4.0L Access cab). Does anyone have any advice? Please don't tell me to buy a one piece drive shaft.

(FYI The white stuff is white lithium grease, i sprayed it on when i couldn't grease the u-joint to try to temporarily lubricate the bearings...it of course didn't work)

Any local drive shaft shop should be able to replace the U joint with no issue.

True, however I'd like to buy the part and do it myself. I have never had any of my vehicles in a shop for anything other than tires and an alignment.

Well, then chack out a NAPA, or other local auto part store, and see if they carry it.

    4x4 U-joint with zerks is Toyota P/N 04371-0K080

However any Dana Spicer 1330 series will work too
