I jumped on MESOs website right when these got dropped and had a chance at both the red and black knobs but opted to go for the DIY kit....am I a sucker supreme? Is there something about the preassembled knobs that makes them inherently better?

Need some help. Ground wire ripped off the connector on Meso stage 2 harness during install. Does anyone have a fix? @MESO do you sell connectors? Or harness separately DC323C29-B974-49B7-AF03-057F8A6CC846.jpg

Can you tell if it pulled out or broke? If you know how to remove the metal pin from the connector it should be an easy fix. Hard to explain.

Without having another connector, the only thing you might be able to do is de-pin and open the crimp, re-crimp and solder. But that pin looks tiny haha.

That's about all you can do or if crimp looks to hard to open without messing it up then just solder it. That way you can finish install or wait for Meso to set you up.

Yep my one side pulled out too. All my fault so I bought the do it yourself kit and I'll just replace.

Is there a trick to removing the climate assembly as per @MESO ’s install video? Easy to get the vent trim ring off but having a problem getting the climate module to release.

Start pulling on the right side or the left? Any suggestions? Sure looks simple in the video.

    Tks

Make sure you pop the panel on the left side that overlaps it a little, and then just pull on the top. Just as video shows him do it is how I did and went smoothly

Tks. I missed the part about the panel on the left. I’ll give it a shot tomorrow.

Damn, looks like I missed it. The DIY kit is listed on the same page as the actual full knob, right?
