Is all about the jalapeno cheddar for me. nothing wrong with the original crunchy though. They are still dang good.

The good:

If there is a signal in the area, it works and does increases your signal strength.

The bad:

If there is no signal, it’s as effective as a pumpkin.

The antenna that mounts outside is a bit obtrusive.

Over time the stock spring it’s mounted to stays bent back from the wind pushing on the antenna while traveling. You can buy a better spring from Amazon though.

The provided hardware is not stainless steel and in less than a year as rusted on me. Again, can be swapped out.

You have to be within 36” of the amplifier for it to work. I mounted mine next to my dome lamp which is fine while driving. If I’m out of the truck, it’s useless.

I've been keeping an eye on sales for these. I did see a video about these a while back and went to find it... Its a basic overview on how this guy uses it and how he mounted it. Not a bad way to go... I think its around 18:50 where he glosses over weak signal and how this will rebroadcast the signal inside the truck giving it a boost. But yes, if there is no signal it will not produce one. Its a bit like being in an area where you have 1 bar dropping your calls and putting a giant antenna on your phone so it can utilize that weak signal (maybe making it more like 2.5/3 bars so you can get a call out without drops)

The magnetic mount antenna sounds like a pain in arse. Or is there some reason I want to take it down frequently? Doesn't MESO have a 3rd brake light with an antenna mount? That sounds better than running a wire though the door.

Back to the weboost - Does anyone know if a repeater is available that expands the signal reach for use once stationary, outside of the vehicle? I've read a few things that boosters work best in a confined space but haven't come across anything if you're able to repeat the boosted signal.
